Francesca Haydon MSC, BA (Hons), Dip Coun. Registered Member MBACP (Snr Accred)

I am a Senior Accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I qualified as a Counsellor in 2000 and have worked in the NHS and in private practice ever since. I have over 20 years of experience working with adults who suffer from depression, anxiety disorders, stress, low self confidence, low self esteem and interpersonal relationship difficulties. I am also a practitioner of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a specialist, National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommended treatment for trauma and PTSD. In 2007 I completed an MSc in Psychological Therapies, specialising in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I am trained in a brief form of psychodynamic Psychotherapy called Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT). DIT is used in the NHS to provide brief therapy to people who wish to work on how they relate to others. I am accredited DIT Practitioner with the British Psychoanalytic Council. I can offer short or long term therapy. I adapt my approaches to support people in reaching their individual goals. I offer a free, no obligation, 30 minute pre-assessment introductory session for you to meet me to help you decide if you would like to book some sessions.
Sama Afsheen UKCP (accredited), Bsc (Hons), Msc

I have a degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology (1996), with its basis in systemic family therapy and Cognitive Behavioural therapy. I also have a Masters degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy and I am a UKCP accredited Gestalt Psychotherapist. I am also an EMDR practitioner. I am a member of the British Psychological society and of the Gestalt Psychotherapist Training Institute (GPTI). I am a member of the UK council for Psychotherapists and abide by their code of ethics. I have worked for over 17 years in Primary care mental health. I have considerable experience providing psychotherapy and counselling to individuals with enduring mental health difficulties. As a Gestalt therapist I help people to understand the ways they think, feel and act in different situations, through greater awareness of the moment by moment activity in the therapeutic setting. I attend to body processes and non-verbal communication. I value the relationship between client and therapist as key to healing. I believe strongly in the possibility of transformation and growth through relationship and deeper awareness. Gaining new insights can enable you to arrive at your own informed decisions and create new choices. I will provide a safe and respectful and empathic setting working creatively to support and gently challenge.

Elisabeth Tristram CPsychol

I qualified in 2002 as a Counselling Psychologist, and a CAT Practitioner.  I am also now registered as a BPS Applied Supervisor and as a CAT Supervisor. I work both in the NHS and in Private Practice offering short and longer term therapy for individuals in a safe and confidential environment.  I have many years experience working with adults, young people and children to overcome relationship difficulties which can so often lead to individuals experiencing for example, anxiety, depression and eating disorders.  I work collaboratively with people in finding different ways of relating to themselves and others – ways that no longer foster the need for psychological distress
